The short version
  • No tracking, no analytics, no advertising cookies — none at all.
  • The only data we hold is what you type into an application or a gallery upload, which goes to our staff team.
  • Accepted members appear on the public members list — you can opt out.

Who this is about

This covers the TSNSMP website (tsnsmp.com). We're a small Minecraft community running this ourselves — we're not a company and we're not lawyers, so this page is written plainly. If anything here is unclear, just ask us.

What your browser stores

We don't use cookies, and there's no analytics or tracking script on the site. A few small settings are saved in your browser's local storage and never leave your device:

  • theme — your light/dark choice
  • Your accessibility-widget preferences (text size, contrast, reduced motion, etc.) and where you've dragged the accessibility button
  • A note that you've seen the intro animation, and a 5-minute cache of which members are currently live on Twitch (names only)

Clearing your browser data removes all of it.

Information you give us

Member application (on the home page). You enter your Minecraft name, age or age range, Discord, any other socials you choose to share, pronouns (optional), timezone, and written answers. When you submit, it's sent through a small server function and posted to our private staff Discord for the team to review. We also fetch your Minecraft avatar from a skin service to attach it to the post.

Moderator application (/apply/). Similar details plus more written answers. These are stored in our database (Google Firebase) and posted to Discord.

Gallery submissions (/gallery/). The image, a title, an optional description and an optional name. Uploads go to our Firebase storage and are reviewed by staff before appearing on the site.

The public members list

If you're accepted, your Minecraft name, pronouns, chosen colour and Twitch link (if you've shared one) are shown publicly on the Players page and the home page. You can opt out with the checkbox on the application form, or ask a staff member to take you off the list at any time.

Other services involved

Running the site means your browser (or our server) talks to a few outside services. Each has its own privacy policy and may see your IP address:

  • Discord — where applications are sent
  • Google / Firebase — database, image storage, and staff sign-in
  • Cloudflare — hosts the site; its servers log IP addresses and request info for security and abuse prevention
  • minotar.net — Minecraft skins and avatars
  • Twitch — checking whether members are live, and stream thumbnails
  • Google Fonts and Modrinth (mod links on the Resources page)

Age

TSNSMP is an 18+ community. Applications from anyone under 18 are not accepted, and you're asked to confirm your age when you apply. If you're under 18, please don't submit an application or share personal details with us.

Keeping and deleting your data

Applications stay in our Discord and records while we consider them, and for a while afterwards in case you re-apply or we need the context. If you want your application, or your entry on the members list, deleted — message a staff member on Discord and we'll take care of it.

Changes

If what we collect changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
